What is tense? काल क्या हैं?

Tense जिसका हिंदी में अर्थ होता हैं "काल"। काल से किसी भी कार्य के होने के समय का पता चलता हैं की कोई कार्य कब हुआ वर्तमान काल में, भूत काल में या भविष्य काल में

How many types of tense? काल कितने प्रकार के होते हैं?

There are three types tense. काल मुख्य रूप से तीन प्रकार के होते हैं।

1. Present tense (वर्तमान काल)

2. Past tense (भूत काल)

3. Future tense (भविष्य काल)

1. Present tense (वर्तमान काल)

जिस tense (काल) से कोई काम वर्तमान समय में करना या होना मालूम हो उसे present tense (वर्तमान काल) कहते हैं।

जैसे (examples):-

• वह बाजार जाता हैं।            He goes to market.
• क्या मैं बाजार जाता हूं?       Do I go to market?
• मैं cricket खेल रहा हूं।      I am playing cricket.
• क्या वह रो रही हैं?             Is she weeping?
• मैं ये किताब पढ़ चुका हूं।     I have read this Book.
• मैं सुबह से पढ़ते आ रहा हूं।  I have been reading since morning.
• तुम क्या चाहते हो?            What do you want?
• गाय घास खाती है।            The Cow eats grass.
• रीता अंग्रेजी जानती हैं।       Rita knows english
• तुम अच्छे लड़के हो।           You are a good boy.

I.   Present indefinite tense

II.  Present imperfect/continuous tense

III. Present perfect tense

IV. Present perfect continuous tense

2. Past tense (भूत काल)

जिस tense (काल) से कोई काम बीते हुए समय में करना या होना मालूम हो उसे past tense (भूत काल) कहते हैं।

जैसे (examples):-

• मैंने उसकी जान बचाई।              I saved her life.
• क्या तुम जाना चाहते थे?            Did you want to go?
• क्या तुमने गाली नहीं दी?            Did you not abuse?
• तुमने क्या किया ?                     What did you do?
• हम लोग पढ़ाई रहे थे।              We were studying.
• मैंने अपना काम पहले ही खत्म कर दिया था  i had already done my work.
• मैं सोमवार से ही बीमार था।    I had been ill since Monday.
• मैं एक घंटे से पढ़ रहा था      i had been reading for one hour.
• वह एक अच्छा लड़का था।       He was a good boy.
• मेरे पास एक नया गाड़ी था।       I had a new Car.

1. Future tense (भविष्य काल)

जिस tense (काल) से कोई काम आने वाले समय में करना या होना मालूम हो उसे future tense (भविष्य काल) कहते हैं।

जैसे (examples):-

• मैं एक डॉक्टर बनूंगा।       I will be a doctor.
• मैं कल दिल्ली जाऊंगा।     I will go to Delhi tomorrow.
• तुम कुछ नहीं करोगे।        You will do nothing.
• क्या तुम अंग्रेज़ी पढ़ोगे?    Will you read english.
• वे लोग सोते रहेंगे।            They will be sleeping.
• तुम वहां जा चूकोगे।         You will have gone there.
• सीता गाना गा चूकेगी।      Sita will have sung a song.
• मैं नहीं जा चुका रहूंगा।      I will/shall not have gone.
• मैं खाता हुआ रहूंगा।          I shall have been eating.
• क्या तुम पढ़ते रहोगे।        Will you be reading?
