7. See up – कामयाब देखना
I want to see you up.

8. See down – कमजोर समझना
Don’t see down me.

10 Common Phrasal Verbs With Get
1. Get up (उठना, उठाना) To wake up, To stand up
Hey Rahul, Wake up we got to go. / Hey Rahul, get up. We got to go.
हे/अरे राहुल! जाग जाओ, हमें जाना होगा।
Why are you sitting here? Stand up/Get up.
आप यहाँ क्यों बैठे हैं? खड़े हो जाइए।
2. Get in = To enter a vehicle. (किसी वाहन जैसे ट्रेन, बस, प्लेन आदि में चढ़ना, घुसना, बैठना)
The moment you called me up, I was getting (entering) the car.
जिस वक्त आपने मुझे कॉल की, मैं कार में बैठ रहा था।
Rahul did not get in the bus.
राहुल बस में नहीं चढ़ा।
3. Get off = To leave a vehicle (किसी वाहन से उतरना)
I got off the bus.
मैं बस से उतरा।
Rahul is getting off the bus.
राहुल बस से उतर रहा है।
I can’t take risk, if I get off this bus, I may have no other option.
मैं जोखिम नहीं ले सकता, यदि मैं इस बस से उतर गया तो मेरे पास कोई दूसरा विकल्प भी नहीं बचेगा।
4. Get through = पास करना /सफलता पाना(To pass/ To clear)
खत्म करना/ उपभोग करना (To use / To consume)
I got through the IAS exam.
मैंने IAS की परीक्षा (exam) को पास कर लिया।
Due to his hard work and patience, he eventually got through the difficult time.
अपनी मेहनत और धैर्य की वजह से उसने आखिरकार मुसीबत के वक्त से पार पा लिया।

5. Get over = (किसी बुरे अनुभव से उभरना) To recover from a bad experience
It will take you a week to get over/recover this illness.
इस बीमारी से उभरने में आपको एक सप्ताह लगेगा।
I am little upset due to my pathetic performance. Don’t worry. I’ll get over with time.
मैं अपनी बेकार performance की वजह से थोड़ा परेशान हूँ, चिंता मत करिए, समय के साथ मैं रिकवर कर लूँगा/ उभर जाऊँगा।
6. Get out = किसी को निकलने के लिए कहना. (To tell someone to leave) उजागर होना/ज्ञान में आना. (To become known) / बाहर निकलना. (To go out to enjoy/relax)
You get out of my house.
आप मेरे घर से बाहर निकल जाइए।
Get him out of here.
इसको यहाँ से बाहर निकालो।
The news got out yesterday. Since then, people are being crazy to see him.
ये खबर कल आई। तब से, लोग उसे देखने के लिए पागल हुए जा रहे हैं।

मुझे दोस्तों के साथ बाहर जाना अच्छा लगता है।

7. Get away from. (किसी व्यक्ति या चीज से बचना) To escape from a person or thing.
I somehow got away from the police.
मैं किसी तरह से पुलिस से बचा।
My dog died last week. I’m not able to get away from this pain.
मेरा कुत्ता लास्ट वीक इस दुनिया से चला गया/ मर गया, मैं इस दुख से दुर/बच नहीं जा पा रहा हूँ।
8. Get on with = (संभालना) To manage वो इस सिचुवेशन(परिस्थिति)को मैनेज कर सकता है।
He can manage this situation. / He can get on with this situation.
वह इस स्थिति को संभाल सकते हैं. / वह इस स्थिति से निपट सकता है
I can’t get on with you, because you hate music and I love playing guitar.
मैं आपके साथ मैनेज नहीं कर सकता/ मैं आपके साथ तालमेल नहीं बिठा सकता, क्योंकि आप म्यूजिक से ऩफरत करते हैं और मैं गिटार बजाना बहुत पंसद करता हूँ।
9. Get rid of. (पीछा छुड़ाना) To throw/ To give away
I just want to get rid of my car, because it’s pretty old and demands repairing quite often.
मैं अपनी कार से बस पीछा छुड़ाना चाहता हूँ, क्योंकि ये बहुत पुरानी है और अक्सर इसे रिपेयरिंग की जरुरत पड़ती है।
First, you get rid of your negative attitude, then only you can pass this so called tough exam.
सबसे पहले, आप अपने नकारात्मक रवैये को छोड़िए, केवल तभी आप इस तथाकथित कठिन परीक्षा में सफलता पा सकते हैं।
10. Get into. (शामिल होना) To become involved in something
The moment I reached home, I got into You Tube videos.
जैसे ही मैं घर पहुँचा, मैं यूट्यूब विडियोज में लग गया/बनाने में जुट गया।

आप बेवजह इस झगड़े में क्यों पड़ रहे हैं?
11. Get at = बिना कहे बताने की कोशिश करना. (To try to say something indirectly) बार-बार आलोचना करना/ पीछे पड़ना, (To criticize repeatedly)
What are you getting at?
आप क्या कहना चाहते हो?/आप क्या कहने की कोशिश कर रहे हो?
He is getting at something that we’re not able to understand.
वो कुछ कहना चाह रहा है जो हम समझ नहीं पा रहे हैं।
Why are you getting at me?
आप तो मेरे पीछे ही पड़ गए हो/आप तो मेरी बुराई ही किए जा रहे हो।
My friend got at the movie; whereas, I didn’t find anything not up to the mark.
मेरा दोस्त तो मूवी के पीछे ही पड़ गया, जबकि मुझे तो मूवी में कुछ भी ऐसा नहीं लगा जो ठीक ना हो।
